Hi there, I'm Vanessa Hansen, a natural light photographer based out of the lovely Santa Barbara, California. I've been deeply passionate about photography for years. Growing up with a father who was always behind a video recorder, documenting our family gatherings and vacations instilled a sense of wonder to relive moments through the lens.

I was blessed to grow up on the coast of Southern California with the ocean and mountains within reach. Inherently, my photography style highlights the beauty of these landscapes, gravitating towards soft creamy textures, while maintaining a natural composition. My vision is to capture the essence of each gathering, momentous occasion and session with the desire to tell your story.  As unique as the last rays of light setting beneath the skyline, so are each of our lives and stories. I hope to cultivate visual artistry in a compelling and timeless way.

I have a heart for God, my husband and our Cavalier King Charles, Layla, chai lattes on any given day, sunsets and crave authenticity. I'm an endurance runner, travel enthusiast, adventurer, epicure, bookworm, baker, lover of sea creatures and enjoy serving others.
